TWO ”BRIDGES” BACK TO AMERICA’S MISERY

Mitt Romney won the Michigan Primary because he was able to sell false hope to the voters that he would be able to bring back thousands of lost auto assembly jobs, about 330,000 since 2000, if he wins the presidency. He gave to the voters what they would like to hear to earn their votes even if, as a successful businessman as he brags to be, he presumably knows in his heart that those factory jobs will never come due to downsizing and restructuring.

John McCain told them the truth about the declining auto industry suggesting instead establishment of job-creating Green Technology designed to clean the environment. He lost the primary election to the glib-tongued salesman, the Republican counterpart of the phony-speaking Clinton couple. But he maintains his credibility and authenticity.

In a recent speech, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama criticized Hillary Clinton’s campaign for the presidency as an attempt to “build a bridge to the 20th century back to the scandal-ridden Clinton era. Well, isn’t it that upon his endorsement by JFK Family, he himself may be described as trying to build a bridge to the 60s back to the scandal-ridden Kennedy regime?

Let the American electorate beware of the reckless character of these two political families, the Kennedys and the Clintons, that are now trying again to get power with all their might at the expense of the national security and economic independence of the Untied States. Never forget that the reason why Cuba, a country in our backyard run by a dangerous dictator, still poses a threat to our national security was due to JFK’s error in judgment during the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Never forget that the reason for the 9/11 attack on our country by Islamic terrorists was due to the Clinton administration’s failure to secure our borders and airports.

Government documents and public records are available for all concerned Americans to check out the failure of both the Kennedy and Clinton administrations to keep the United States safe and secure from terrorist’s attacks and free from massive government spending.

Here’s a friendly advice to my fellow American voters: don’t believe everything the biased liberal media is suggesting that election year 2008 is a Democratic year and therefore the next president is a Democrat. The American people surely will not take the two “bridges” back to America’s misery.

TOO DANGEROUS TO BE PRESIDENT

Bill Clinton, former president and husband of Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, has a government record of lying under oath and lying publicly before a worldwide television audience during his impeachment hearing in 1998. I believe his attacking words lodged against her wife’s opponents during the current election campaign should be taken lightly by the media and by the candidates. In other words, a former president who was found by a judge to have lied in a deposition and punished though with a very light sentence of a five-year suspension of his lawyer’s license has already lost his credibility as a statesman. He resigned his membership in the United States Supreme Court Bar. The American people should now treat him as a mere entertainer and a comedian.

Hillary Clinton as a presidential candidate is getting away with a lot of serious negative things she did during her time as a First Lady in Arkansas and at the White House during the debates and interviews with the media. Definitely the issue of national security or keeping America safe from harm and economic reforms should take priority in evaluating her competence to lead the American people to greater peace and prosperity.

For a start, consider whether Hillary is equipped with knowledge in military science and tactics, military leadership, strategic intelligence, experience in the conduct of military operations, and emotional fortitude that are required of an effective chief executive and Commander-in-Chief of all the American forces. Look at the scale and surely she is found wanting.

During her first year at the White House, Hillary was mentioned in court records to be instrumental in the appointment of Craig Livingstone, an ex-Washington, DC nightclub bouncer, as Director of the White House Office of Personnel Security. It was reported that this person was also authorized to carry the attaché case containing the nuclear button for a pre-emptive strike in case of a nuclear attack. Livingstone finally resigned after government investigators were looking into his direct involvement in requesting FBI files of previous White House Republican officials and employees and reading them without their consent.

For another start, consider whether Hillary is equipped with knowledge, experience and skills in fixing America’s economic problems. Government records will show her involvement as a lawyer-investor of a real estate scam in Arkansas known as the Whitewater Real Estate Scandal during the 70s and 80s that victimized a lot of innocent real estate investors. Again look at the scale and clearly she is found wanting.

So much for now since there exists a mountain of information available in the internet, in public records, in court records, and even in the Clinton Archives that will portray Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as too dangerous to be the next American President.

FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT, FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT, SO WHAT?

It was the Black vote that spelled Bill Clinton’s victory on both his first presidential election in 1993 and re-election in 1997. But the history of mankind is full of life’s ironies. This time, 2008 presidential election year, the Black vote will again come into play and deny Hillary Clinton, Bill’s wife, the victory the ambitious Clintonites desire to possess.

What is glaringly evident is Hillary’s campaign to depict Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, her Primary opponent for the Democratic nomination, as another irresponsible and reckless Black man running for President of the United States by painting Obama’s admission of having used drugs during his teens with the intent to sell or disseminate a prohibited substance as declared by a major Clinton campaign adviser who later resigned. Hillary is just lucky to have a somewhat less aggressive rival for the presidency who refused to retaliate by using Bill Clinton’s confession of having smoked marijuana. One of Obama’s advisers could have also said that Monica Lewinsky’s mature lover could have also sold drugs during his teens.

I would like to suggest to all of Hillary Clinton’s male opponents for the presidency not to treat her like a woman because her overly aggressive campaign strategy and tactics originate from a masculine mind. In other words, she definitely is projecting herself not as a female presidential candidate and therefore, given so many weak areas in her background she should not be given the privilege of getting light punches but rather solid punches to knock her out in the early rounds.

In like manner, Barack Obama whose stepfather is a Muslim from Indonesia should not be insulated from fair criticism of his way of thinking because of his familial affinity to Indonesia and the Muslim religion. If indeed he grew up in Indonesia in an Islam environment, he should be under the microscope when talking about the importance of basic American values such as allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and the Christian foundation of America.

Let the voter’s mind be freed of such emotionalisms as having a first woman president or first Black president. Let’s examine these two candidates based on their qualifications and readiness to head the most powerful and richest country in the world, the United States of America, founded on the principle of “right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

LA FEMME HILLARY


There's something in the female specie of Homo sapien that is so deadly and powerful: a woman's tears accompanied by a croaking voice. So many times that I was compromised and disarmed by such a weird force that I have made it a policy not to be moved by a woman crying.

Yet it happened it New Hampshire recently during a campaign event when the only female candidate for the presidency, Democrat Hillary Clinton, tearfully expressed her frustration over her declining poll numbers that was about to crush all her dreams for a return to the White House. At a debate when she was told that the voters perceive her to be unlikeable campared to her main opponent, Sen. Barack Obama to be likable, she again showed her feminine way of feeling rejected with a breaking smile. At another time when her two male opponents, Obama and Edwards, somewhat ganged up on her telling her that she is not an agent of change, she again showed a female feline reaction – shaking with big eyes blazing - when getting cornered.

If television comedian Ellen Degeneres, a lesbian, could cry over a dog's future, how much more of a former First Lady like Hillary Clinton worried about her own future. Both of them became media's favorite news. The publicity generated by Hillary's emotionalism perhaps touched the women of New Hampshire 57 percent of whom went out to cast their votes on January 8th that virtually turned the pollsters predicting a landslide for Obama as big-time jokers

Anyway, I believe God does move it mysterious ways: Hillary Clinton's defeat in Iowa stopped her coronation as the inevitable Democratic nominee in the same manner as Obama's defeat in New Hampshire demolished his “rock star” image and set aside his “winning the presidency.”

So the presidential campaign goes on under a state of uncertainties and unpredictabilities affecting both the Democratic and Republican candidates. Mitt Romney's millions once again failed to buy a victory in New Hampshire against a former underdog, Sen. John McCain, who emerged as the winner. Another former underdog, former Arkansas Mike Huckabee, landed on third place behind Romney defeating known political entities such as Rudy “America's Mayor” Giuliani and Sen. Fred “Law and Order” Thompson.

Now I realized why American media this time has put a lot of attention to elections in small states like Iowa and New Hampshire. It's the momentum, stupid!

THE CHARACTER NOT THE MONEY IN REAL AMERICAN POLITICS


The victory of two men, Republican Mike Huckabee and Democrat Barack Obama, in yesterday's Iowa Caucuses for this year's presidential nomination so stunned the whole world that even veteran political analysts and commentators looked in disbelief. Bill Kristol, neoconservative editor of the Weekly Standard that is noted for being an influential Washington-based political magazine and Sean Hannity, a Fox News conservative political commentator appeared to have lost their credibility and expertise by underestimating Huckabee who was outspent by his closest rival, Romney, 20 to 1.


Obama whose African father is from Kenya and whose Caucasian mother is from Kansas broke the racial barrier in politics and beat a well-funded Hillary Clinton machinery operated by veteran political operatives some of whom are known to be unscrupulous.. So he needed to spend more than his rivals in order to get his message across the state. At any rate, Obama's win in a state populated by approximately 95 % White leaves an indelible mark in the history of Blacks in America as he even punctuated it in his victory speech, "They said this day would never come."


Despite its small size in area and population, Iowa's geographical location in Middle America makes it most representative of what the United States is about – its needs and aspirations. Iowa's caucuses though somewhat complicated measure more effectively the will of the American electorate t so that well-funded candidates such as Romney, Obama, and Clinton pumped tens of millions of dollars in campaign funds.


Political pundits love to describe Mike Huckabee as a candidate who "came for nowhere" and won. It's because of his lack of adequate resources, particularly campaign funds, to launch a statewide drive to get votes. Political observers said he resorted to what they call "retail politics" by communicating his message and political agenda to small groups in exchange of television advertisements. While his wealthy rival Romney had already spent more than 17 million dollars of his own money, he was reported to have spent only about $350,000 in campaign donations. And then came the unexpected a few weeks before the caucuses: he overtook Romney in the polls and became the frontrunner.


After being a longshot candidate due to lack of funds, Mike Huckabee's win is best characterized by another rival, Sen. John McCain, in plain words: "You cannot buy an election in Iowa." The former governor of Arkansas and former Southern Baptist Pastor definitely won the Republican caucuses on his message of hope for a better America by CHANGING THE STATUS QUO and going back to basic American values where our country, the United States of America, was founded.


REPEAT: THE NAME OF THE NEXT AMERICAN PRESIDENT ENDS IN A VOWEL-
A CONTEST OF TWO CANDIDATES WITH FUNNY NAMES




Somebody commented in my blog, junpoli.blogspot.com, that the only vowel he wants to see at the end of the next American president's name is A. Surely this voter would be disappointed because two vowels such as EE is STRONGER better than a single A. Now you know who I predict to be the next president of the United States, HUCKABEE.
